Grading

At Circle Mobile Limited, we apply a structured and transparent grading process to ensure clarity, consistency, and quality across all our products. Each device is carefully tested, inspected, and classified according to both cosmetic condition and functional performance.

Whether you require working stock, cosmetic grades, or faulty units for parts, our tablet range provides dependable options for every need.

Laptops

Our laptop division focuses on providing refurbished and tested notebooks from major brands such as HP, Dell, Lenovo, and Apple. Each device is thoroughly inspected, cleaned, and performance-tested, ensuring dependable quality and functionality.

We offer a wide range of specifications to suit different market segments — from budget business models to premium ultrabooks. All laptops are graded accurately and supplied with clear condition reports, giving our partners the confidence to buy at scale.

From D & E Grade to Scrap

We specialise in maximising recovery from lower-grade and non-working stock, including D- and E-grade devices, BER (Beyond Economical Repair) units, and complete scrap lots. Each item undergoes a thorough assessment and triage process to determine its best route — whether for parts harvesting, board-level repair, or certified recycling.

Our team works closely with recycling partners and authorised treatment facilities (ATFs) to ensure every unusable component is processed responsibly and in full compliance with environmental regulations, helping our clients reduce e-waste and meet sustainability targets.

guide

Grade ABC / BC Mixed

This category includes a mixture of Grade A, B, and C devices, ranging from like new to heavily used.

All devices in this grade are fully functional, tested, and free from any locks (including iCloud, Google, and MDM). This is a popular option for partners seeking cost-effective, ready-to-sell stock.

Grade D

Devices in Grade D are functionally operational but may exhibit minor faults or contain aftermarket or missing components.

Displays are fully working, though minor imperfections such as small marks or uneven brightness may be present.

Grade C

Devices graded as C display heavy signs of use, including visible scratches, scuffs, and casing marks.

All units remain fully functional, although battery health may be below 80%. This grade is ideal for customers seeking value devices with full usability but lower cosmetic quality.

Grade E

Grade E devices are non-functional due to LCD defects, including lines, spots, shading, or total display failure.

These units may have additional faults and can include aftermarket or missing parts. They are often suitable for parts harvesting or refurbishment projects.

Locked Devices (iCloud, Google, PIN, MDM)

This category includes devices that are locked through security features such as iCloud, Google FRP, PIN, or MDM restrictions.
They are divided into two subcategories:

  • Grade D (Functional LCD) – Devices may appear cosmetically mixed (A–C) but cannot be fully tested due to activation locks.

  • Grade E (Non-Functional LCD) – Locked devices with defective or non-functional displays.

DOA (Dead on Arrival)

These devices do not power on or boot up and are therefore untested.
The issue may range from a simple battery or charging fault to a major motherboard failure. DOA stock is typically purchased for diagnostic, parts, or recycling purposes.

BER (Beyond Economical Repair)

BER devices are non-functional and uneconomical to repair.
They are generally utilised for spare parts recovery, component extraction, or certified recycling, supporting sustainability and responsible waste management.
